Gregor Meyle
Unplugged Tour 2025
“Dreams come and go and stay, like waves on the sea. Sometimes they become reality, but it's often hard to believe in them.”
Hardly any line of text describes the career of singer-songwriter Gregor Meyle better than these opening words to his song “Warum sich träumen lohnt” (Why it's worth dreaming) from what is now his seventh studio album, entitled “INDIVIDUALITÄT” (Individuality).
Many know Gregor Meyle from numerous TV shows such as “Sing meinen Song – das Tauschkonzert” (Sing My Song – The Exchange Concert), ‘Meylensteine’ (Meyle Milestones) and currently “Your Songs,” for which even big names like Robbie Williams traveled to take a seat between Meyle and Jeanette Biedermann on the ARD couch. TV viewers love the songwriter with his hat, glasses, and guitar. But anyone who has not yet experienced a Gregor Meyle concert should make up for it as soon as possible in 2025. Because an unplugged tour by Meyle is always a live event in a class of its own.
He is an extremely versatile artist whose colorful personality is truly written all over his face. Together with his Champions League band, he spends over two hours on stage, presenting great emotions and a crossover of numerous musical styles. In addition to his hits such as “Keine ist wie du” (No one is like you), he has new songs in store every year. In 2025, these will mainly be tracks from his album “INDIVIDUALITÄT,” in which he sings about the balance that a traveling musician must and wants to find between touring, songwriting, and time for his family. Challenges that come with life as a family man and father, but which also make life worth living.
And in the best songwriting tradition, he naturally tells many stories again: unmistakable and authentic – simply the real Gregor Meyle.
“Individualität” not only provides a cross-section of life in its lyrics, but also individual sound textures, which the trained sound and stage technician adds in a playful way. Sometimes it's a large orchestra, then again an exotic kalimba sound, and then soft melodies that delight acoustic music lovers.
About Gregor Meyle
Many have only known the charming musician with the hat, beard, and glasses since the first season of “Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert,” but he has earned his loyal fan base through hundreds of live performances in clubs, city halls, and on large open-air stages. He also made it to the final show as the dragon on “The Masked Singer.”
He received gold awards for his studio albums “New York - Stintino” and “Meile für Meyle” on his own label Meylemusic. With “Meylensteine,” he got his own successful TV show on Vox and now has more than a quarter of a million enthusiastic concertgoers, an Echo Award, and a German Television Award to his name.
